TEC Design, Inc. entered the consulting engineering market in 1997 as a specialty firm concentrating efforts on commercial, industrial, and institutional site designs as well as subdivision developments for single-family and multi-family housing. The company has since grown to offer this blend of services and expertise to public sector customers as well. Founded by Steve Sletner, TEC Design, Inc. takes a unique approach to designing sites by stepping outside the path of analysis normally pursued by engineers and surveyors. TEC Design, Inc. looks at each site as though we were the customer to provide our insight into the process and stay in tune with our customer’s needs.
Our office in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, handles multiple projects in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Oregon. Our engineers are registered for national licensure so we can serve your needs almost anywhere in the United States.
Our goal is simple - consistently deliver services that meet or exceed the customer's expectations. Often consulting firms produce the project that they like to deliver, not necessarily what the customer wants or desires. The key to meeting the client's expectations is listening to the customer's needs and expectations, and matching our capabilities to customer's desires from the start of negotiations to delivery of the final product. The level of sophistication and detail of the final product is customer driven-factors determining the "value" expected by the customer are cost, creativity, timing, and delivery. TEC Design, Inc. listens to the customer and has the ability to deliver the full spectrum of project types that match customer expectations.
From simple beginnings of three employees in 1997, we have proudly grown to a larger group of dedicated staff. We now have three Professional Engineers, two Engineers-in-Training, two Registered Land Surveyors, and support staff with technical expertise that is knowledgeable in the needs of clients and ready to serve you.
